Appleby Bachelor Gulch Residence
Main entrance off auto court, gable and trusses are similar to those at the dining area (above photo) and great room.
Stone arched entries into the garage with a guest bedroom above.
This image shows the east facing dining area within the great room and wrap around deck which overlooks the auto court. Shoulder beams support the trusses which in turn support the log roof purlins. At this angle you can see, in detail, the skip peeled log siding and log trusses.
This image taken from the road shows the gables and deck at the great room and master bathroom. The log scissor trusses continue into the house through the great room.
The log scissor trusses are also used on the interior of the home in the great room, dining room, main entry, master bedroom, and kitchen. To view more of this home’s interior spaces please go to the interiors page.
