Dillon Valley Vistas- 6 Duplex Community, Dillon, CO; 2019-2020.

Dillon Valley Vistas is a project in Dillon, CO that contains 6 Duplex Units. Each duplex is a 2-story, 3-4 bedroom home with a 2 car garage. The design of each housing unit is similar with the living, kitchen and dining areas located on the main level along with the two car garage. A datum containing the stair to the second level as well as a laundry closet, bathroom and entry closet keep the living area separate from the garage without feeling like a cluttered or oppressive division. The drawings shown of Duplex 5 (housing units 5A & 5B) show the difference of the three bedroom and four bedroom units.

The planting plan was designed by fieldscape Landscape Architects in Avon, Colorado.

Dillon Valley Vistas is the first for sale workforce housing development in Summit County in which each unit is compliant with the 2018 International Energy Code (IECC), the County’s recently adopted Sustainable Building Code. It is also the first to obtain a certification of compliance with the Department of Energy’s Net Zero Energy Ready Homes Program.”
