Battle Mountain High was a replacement school for the Eagle County School Districts eastern population. The existing structure and site built in the 1970s had outgrown the population needs. The school was design for a 1,000 student capacity and over 190,000 sqft. The floor plan is divided into 3 areas with connecting walkways – Athletics, Core Studies and Electives. In addition to the typical spaces the school has two gyms, a large performing arts auditorium, Commerical/ Residential Culinary Arts, Lecture Hall, and Video and Radio Program.
