This 6,000 s.f. home is located on Homestead 85 in Mountain Star. The home is situated on a site that has southern exposure and faces the Beaver Creek Resort and the Swatch Range.
Views were primary design considerations when developing the floor plans. Exterior finish materials will be stone, rough-sawn horizontal siding, and random pattern shingles with cedar shakes as the roof material. This mountain-ranch home features a formal living and dining room in close proximity to the entry. The kitchen, study, and breakfast nook are privately located beyond the living and dining rooms. The  first image above shows the rear of the house; the great room is in the center of the building. The master suite is on the left, and the breakfast nook tower is on the right corner of the building. The 3 car garage is a separate guest suite with its own entrance, as well as a connection to the main house. Looking at the home from the road, as in the third image, Beaver Creek’s Grouse Mountain is on the left. Mt. Jackson is showing some snow still. Strawberry Park, Bachelor Gulch and the Sawatch Range are to the right. The last image is looking east past the Master Suite onto the pool and patio.
