The wood storage and the sculpture niche to the left of the fireplace was added to the room. The brick was removed from the outside of the fireplace so it would match the existing. The Cypress tongue and groove paneling, base and cornice was added as well.
Looking back from the living room is the kitchen. Per the clients request, red oak and Corinthian was used extensively. These were accented by the quarry tile flooring.
This stained and sandblasted glass window is nearly 5 feet wide and 3 feet high and is located between the living room and the entry. It was made by Simon’s Studio in Evergreen, Colorado.
