Barlow Residence

Before 1979, the Barlow Residence was a simple ranch style home in Sunshine Acres in Davie, FL. An extensive renovation was designed and constructed and is illustrated by the accompanying images. Brick pillars with both a pedestrian gate and vehicular gate and associates separate fence were added as well as lush landscaping. Behind the new cypress lined bar was the existing chimney. The brick was removed for reuse on the interior of the home next to the existing fireplace for an “exact” match. New “similar” brick was installed around the existing masonry along with additional accents including the beer tab niche, the bar footrail and the existing steel column wraps.
