Eagle Valley Middle – Renovations and Additions

Eagle Valley Middle Renovation and Addition, Eagle, CO; 80,000 s.f. addition; $24 million; 2017 – 2018

Part of a K-8 campus design which began with site studies by TAB Associates, Inc. in 2015, the idea was to create a new campus from the existing campus with Eagle Valley Elementary. TAB Associates, Inc. completed the Master Plan prior to the 2016 Bond and helped realize the project through design assist and full Construction Administration along with the DLR Group. The project included an addition and renovations to the existing structure which was originally built in the 1980’s.  The school suffered from cramped hallways, classrooms and a dated mechanical system which was unsustainable and unaccommodating. The new design provided more space, more security and more environmentally sustainable systems.  The renovations and addition of the cafeteria allowed for more flexibility, allowing for the 21st century learning experiences that the students needed.
