Lot 75, Red Sky Ranch Rendering by Stan Doctor
This 6,780 s.f. ranch style residence sits in the sage covered hills along the golf course at Red Sky Ranch, a few miles south of Wolcott, Colorado.  Spacious covered decks and porches wrap the house on the front and back, allowing its inhabitants to fully enjoy the outdoors.  Panoramic views reach from the forested hills surrounding Red and White Mountain to the spectacular Gore Range.

The home is graciously appointed with 3 bedrooms, a study/fourth bedroom, 4 full baths and two powder rooms.  The main floor takes advantage of a semi-formal design, with the kitchen, dining room, hearth room and living room adjacent.  Each of these rooms can be closed off from one another, with the exception of the hearth room. The master bedroom, mud room and three car garage are all also on this level.  The lower level features a family room, wine room, bar, and two bedrooms and baths.

Nearly all the rooms have direct access to the outdoors; covered decks on the main level and patios on the lower level.  The guest cottage, seen to the right of the main house, is accessed by a foot bridge which crosses a dry creek bed.
The cottage contains one bedroom, a full bath, a kitchen, and a living/dining room which opens onto a covered deck.

The false dormer over the two car portion of the garage has decorative doors on it to simulate a hay loft in a barn.
This dormer protects the garage door from snowshed.
To add some ranch detail to the house a cupola was added at the ridge.
