Messamer/Beck Addition

Messamer/Beck Addition, Hendersonville, NC; 240 s.f.;  2021.

The Messamer/Beck Addition involves the design of a sunroom off of the existing living room. The sunroom is a twelve foot by twenty foot room addition with a gable end facing Southwest that utilizes lots of windows, two skylights, and a 10′ bi-parting sliding door on the Southwest face. Included in the design is a wood burning fireplace in the corner of the space that makes up for the removal of the fireplace and chimney from the existing living room.
